· Optimisation
The business statistics and forecasting unit is an International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) student award unit.
The best student will receive US$100， a Certificate of Achievement， and one year's free membership to the Institute.
Semester two： taught units
Compulsory units

· Analytics in practice (taught in partnership with IBM)
· Data mining
· Heuristics and simulation
Optional units
You will selec two of these units：
· Sustainable operations management
· Project management

Dissertation
The course will finish with a dissertation. You will produce a unique piece of research using techniques learned throughout the year.
